VELCRO Brand Strength Fasteners 4×2″ Hook & Loop Holds 15 lbs 3Sets

Description

Product Overview

The VELCRO Strength Fasteners are engineered for demanding applications where reliability and durability are non‑negotiable. Each strip measures 4 × 2 inches and is coated with a high‑performance, industrial‑grade adhesive that can sustain a static load of up to 15 lb per strip, even when exposed to direct sunlight, rain, or temperature extremes. The backing material is a reinforced polyester web that resists tearing, stretching, and abrasion, ensuring the hook side retains its grip over thousands of attachment cycles. Product dimensions are 1 × 3 × 7.25 inches, and the total package weight is only 1.06 ounces, making it lightweight yet incredibly strong. The fasteners are supplied in a set of three strips, providing ample coverage for multiple projects without the need for additional purchases.

Usage

These fasteners excel in both indoor and outdoor environments. Whether you need to mount signage on a concrete wall, secure garden tools to a shed door, organize cables along a metal conduit, or attach decorative elements to a brick façade, the VELCRO Strength Fasteners adhere firmly without the need for drills, screws, or nails. The UV‑resistant formulation prevents degradation from prolonged sun exposure, while the water‑resistant properties keep the bond intact during rain, snow, or high humidity. They are also suitable for temporary setups such as trade show displays, event signage, or rental equipment, where a clean‑remove solution is essential. Because no tools are required, installation is as simple as peeling off the protective liner and pressing the strip onto a clean, dry surface.

FAQ

Can these fasteners be used on painted walls?

Yes. The adhesive is designed to bond with painted surfaces as long as the paint is fully cured and the area is clean and dry. For best results, lightly abrade glossy finishes before application.

How many times can the fasteners be reused?

The hook side can be attached and detached thousands of times without loss of grip. The adhesive side can be reused up to three times if it remains clean and free of debris; after that, a new strip is recommended for optimal holding power.

Are the fasteners safe for outdoor electrical wiring?

While the fasteners are non‑conductive and can hold lightweight wiring, they are not intended for high‑voltage or load‑bearing electrical applications. For critical electrical installations, use products specifically rated for that purpose.

What is the recommended surface preparation?

Ensure the surface is free of dust, oil, and moisture. Wipe with a clean, dry cloth and allow it to air dry for at least 30 minutes before applying the fastener.

Do the fasteners come with a warranty?

VELCRO offers a limited one‑year warranty covering manufacturing defects. If you encounter any issues, contact our support team for a replacement or refund.
